Just Another Monday... Wish it Were Sunday

Because it if was still Sunday, Ryne wouldn't have left tonight!! It's hard to believe that his trip has already come to an end. I loved having him here in Raleigh with me. We were able to pack a lot in to our days which was wonderful!

Thankfully my parents arrived last night with Mistress so I did not come home to an empty house after I dropped Ryne off at the airport! And speaking of the airport... what a nightmare that was!! We left my house with plenty of time to get there for his flight. His ticket was purchased through Delta (he even checked in on Delta's web site) but turns out he was flying Northwest. Neither one of us realized that so when we tried to check his bags at the Delta terminal his reservation never showed up. We were then told that we would had to head over to the Northwest terminal, which was a good jaunt away. So we hustled over there since we had wasted so much time trying to check in at Delta. There was a long line at the Northwest counter so we checked Ryne's bag at one of the kiosks. Usually one of the agents will then call your name and you hand your bag off without having to wait in the line. This was not the case tonight! So Ryne gets in line and I start to get nervous that he won't be able to check his bag and make it through security in time for his flight especially because the line was NOT moving. Thankfully Ryne's bag was small enough that he could take it as a carry one so he skipped out of checking his bag and headed to security. We had to say our good-byes quickly as time was running out!! Ryne made it through security and to his gate on time. It turns out that the computer sysyem was down for Northwest, which explains the long line!
