Empty and Quiet

My parents got up and left for Florida this morning. I got up to seem them off and say good-bye (at 7am!!). It was sad seeing them go as this will be the first time that I have been alone in over a month. Thankfully I have Mistress with me and she is good company. Once my parents were on the road Mistress and I headed back to bed and got a few more hours of sleep.

(My parents drove to Ocala, Fl today and spent the night with old friends from CT. The funeral for John Travolta's son also happened to be in Ocala today and my parents had to drive by it on their way to their friends' house. Tomorrow they will drive the rest of the way to Estero.)
