This past weekend was Margaux's bachelorette. We spent the weekend at the Norwich Inn & Spa in Connecticut. Kristen, the maid of honor, booked a villa and made all of the arrangements for the weekend. On Friday night we headed to Mystic to have dinner at Mystic Pizza -- this is the restaurant the movie is based on. We had a great meal and then headed back to the villa for a night of movies and junk food. Maragux also opened her bachelorette presents and it is safe to say she was utterly embarrassed. Being the sister of the groom I opted against lingerie and instead got her a travel bag for her toiletries with her new initials embroidered on it. On Saturday Margaux and Kristen got massages (the massages were too rich for my blood!) while the rest of us hung out by the pool. Unfortunately bad thunderstorms came through so our pool time was limited. After lunch we ended up hanging out at the villa playing games and watching more movies. That night we went to Mohegan Sun Casino for dinner at Michael Jordan's Steak House. The food was really good and Margaux even put back a few drinks!! All in all it was a fun weekend.
