Happy Birthday Dear Dad...Happy Birthday to You!!!
My Dad's birthday followed quickly after my mom's. Talk about a one - two punch! And much like my mom's birthday, we had several celebrations for my dad as well. Seeing as his is the only male at water aerobics and how he announced his birthday one month out and told all the ladies that he was accepting gifts, they all decided to do a surprise birthday luncheon for him. And boy was he surprised. Gwynn did a wonderful job of decorating and organizing the party. I joined them for lunch and cake. He got lots of presents... all Red Sux related though :-(! (And no, that was not a typo!). That night my mom and I took my dad out to dinner at one of his favorite restaurants. After dinner we did presents and cake -- I bake him a train cake since he is obsessed with trains!! We then had another mini birthday celebration on Saturday with our friends Jonathan and Bernard. It was a great birthday and my dad loved all of the attention!!!
