Oh, what a day!! My Tigers played today and handed those nasty Gamecocks an ass whooping!! All is well in the world!!
It was a great game from the start. Clemson came out ready and jumped to an early lead. Davis had 3 TDs and capped off his last game in Death Valley with a great performance. Carolina had 4 INT and just could not get it together. I love that Clemson won and that once again we can all savor another victory over the Gamecocks!!
GO TIGERS!!!

Black Friday
I am still recovering from all of the food I so how managed to eat despite my stomach issues yesterday (long story that involved sending me dad out on an emergency run for medicine on Thanksgiving!!). We got up and spent the morning with my mom's friends Cathy & Jeff (my mom and Cathy have been friends forever and grew up spending their summers together at the CT shore). After breakfast we made a quick stop to visit some more friends before we made our journey back to the Cape. We finally got on the road around 10:30am (my parents has me up at 7am for breakfast!!!). Along our way back to the Cape we made a few stops at the stores and I was able to wrap up my Christmas shopping. I got some really good deals and am happy to be 100% done!! But between shopping and stopping for lunch, we didn't get back to the Cape until after 7pm! That made for a long day!! It's good to be back home and relaxing on the couch!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We are off to CT to spend Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family. It's about a 3 hr ride to Essex from the Cape so we will be spending the night with my mom's friends in Waterford. Hopefully traffic won't be too bad and it will be smooth sailing. We'll do a little shopping on our way back so keep your fingers crossed that I will be able to wrap up my Christmas shopping!!

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

I am headed to the Cape tomorrow for Thanksgiving and I cannot wait!! I haven't seen my parents in such a long time. I always love being back at home because it is so relaxing and peaceful. I get the best sleep in the world when I am there. Plus I am in need of a break from work. I have been dealing with a lot of crap lately... I could spend hours and hours updating you on that! It will be good to get away and to be with my family and to see some friends. And of course I am planning on a trip or two to the Land Ho!

Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park
Last night Ryne and I headed up to the Black Hills since he has Veteran's day off. We got to his parents' last night in time to have an awesome chili dinner. We then hung out and watched TV. Today after breakfast we drove through Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. It was a beautiful day to go through the parks and we saw lots of buffalo, antelope, rams, turkeys, and prairie dogs. It was such a great way to spend the day. After the parks Ryne cooked dinner for everyone. Neither Ryne nor I wanted to head back to Chadron. It is so relaxing being in the Hills. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

A Day of Rest... FINALLY!!!
Finally, a day of not having to run around and be in a million different places!! And finally a day for Ryne and I to sleep in. We got up this morning (when we felt like it!) and then decided that it would be a great day to go out to breakfast. So we headed up to Country Kitchen and had nice leisurely breakfast. After breakfast we then stopped by Dale and Meg's to say hi. We watched some football before we headed back home where we parked ourselves on the couch for the rest of the day. It was so great being lazy and just watching football all day. It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday!!
